Chapter 48: It Was Indeed Marx!

Zanzara and Tatiana screamed. They stood frozen on the spot as the four beasts bared their fangs and were ready to devour them.

Amaya growled. The four beasts stopped and went back to where she was and rubbed their bodies on her.

Zanzara and Tatiana almost passed out from fear.

"Why did you come here and who told you to enter?" Marx looked at them fiercely.

Zanzara broke into tears.

"We ..we. . thought that the animals are .. docile, so we came here." she sobbed.

The zoo attendants and the guards standing outside the enclosure pulled them back and closed the iron gate.

Tatiana who was holding herself up earlier let herself lose the moment they were out of the enclosure. Tears streamed down from her eyes and she started sobbing.

"How could cousin let her animals attack us like that?" Tatiana sounded pitiful.
