"Seems they've reached their union faster than we anticipated. I am happy for them." 

Asherah rested on her back and stared up into the glowing tree of her domain. 

She waited and waited silently for some sort of response or answer but she got nothing even after almost a whole minute. 

Peaking underneath her veil, she saw her son and husband both staring at her, not saying a word and sitting like statues. 

"...I did not meddle."

"You did, mother."

Yesh nodded once as if he concurred with his son. 

"I simply did not wish to see that woman in distress."

"Your intentions are well meaning. But you still meddled." Azrael said with a kind smile. 

Evidently though, his mother was not amused. 

"It has come to my attention that some realities have customs to spank their children as a form of discipline. Perhaps I will see if that method has any virtue."
