Chapter 62: Vision (2)

As the battle raged on, a multitude of creatures surged from the water, each as terrifying as the azure thaid that the man was already engaged with. The air was pierced by the sound of continuous gunfire.

These fishlike creatures emerged from the depths with grotesque arms protruding from their sides. Their tree-like limbs allowed them to move efficiently, both in water and on land.

Varying in size, some towered like leviathans, while others were as small as imps, but none were as strong as the Thaid the man was fighting. 

Emily watched in awe as the monsters emerged from the lake and charged toward the man. As more beasts emerged, many more gunshots reverberated through the air. 

The unknown woman picked the newcomer Thaids off, but despite her attempts, there was basically no end to them.
