Chapter 2: Siblings
Recardo's Pov
….Middle School.....
I was coming back home from my soccer practice
"Thank you" I got out when JJ came and opened the door for me

"Where are my parents" I asked when I saw my mother's helper, Mo
"Their office"
"Thanks" I walked in and went towards their office. I was about to get there when I heard my mom crying and I don't know why
"Oh! Joseph. Roberto's birthday is today and everyone knows that except for Recardo who doesn't even know his....-" I was to focus on what my mom was telling my father that was before Savannah came
"Hi Recardo!" I signaled her to be quiet
'Why?' She asked through mindlink
'Because I'm trying to find out something'
"About what mijo? (Son)" my mom came out of the office. Darn! I forgot to block anyone close to me that I didn't want them hearing me say except the person I talk to.
"And give us a reason why you and Savannah are spying on me and your mother?" My dad said from behind my mother
"Well... um Savannah's here had a question for you"
"What?-Ouch!" I pretended to put my arm around her but by doing that I pinched her

"Oye ustedes dos? (Hey both of you?)" my father was snapping his fingers at us
"Sorry but Recardo and me wanted to see if you could answer a few questions on our project of-"
"Savannah. I know that you and Recardo don't have a project together and you are not in the same school and plus you're lying to your alpha, Do you want me to call your parents?" My dad said looking at the both of us very seriously
"Plus-" Oh! Her parents are my uncle and aunt, Juan and Lola and Juan is my dad's little brother
"¿Qué está pasando ahí? (What is going on here?)" Juan said coming down the hall with Lola who was holding hands with him
"Nada-"
"Your daughter disrespected her alpha" my father said not to happy but my mother made him unmad

"Mom sorry-"
"No we have raised you better"
"Your mother is right Ava you never disrespect any alpha-" I felt bad because Savannah was getting in trouble because of me
"PARA! (STOP!)" I yelled and I now had everyone's attention
"¿Para qué? ¿Qué pasa? (For what? What happen?)"
"Don't get mad at her she only did that because she was listening to her future alpha and I'm sorry I wanted to tell you that my next practice is on Wednesday and not Thursday for the next two weeks" I looked at my parents
"Ok mijo (son) I understand"
"Was that it?" My dad looked at me
"um no but-"
"Well sorry to disturb you but me and Lola are heading to bed now, good night!"
"Night!"
"Ava, are you going to bed too?"
"Si (Yes) night and sorry again alpha" she bowed to my parents
"It's okay and thank you for respecting your future alpha" my dad said with a nod and my mom smiled at her
"Mami, papi (Mom, dad) I wanted to talk to the both of you... mom were you crying?" I barely saw that her eyes were puffy like she was crying and I knew she was
"No, I was looking at some pictures. What were you gonna ask us?" She was walking back inside the office with my dad and I behind her. Both my parents sat down behind the desk and I sat in the chair in front of them
"Recardo what were you gonna ask us? Because you also have to go to bed.... Don't give me that look you know it's a school night"
"Well I wanted to know if I was adopted-"
"Recardo!" My mom was surprised
"Que? (What?)…. what did say"
"Recardo you're not adopted, your mother gave birth to you"
"Oh!"
"What's with that question?" My mom looked at me
"I'm because one I don't look like dad at all-"
"Yeah you do you have my hair, see?" He then grabbed his hair from his face
"Ok then what about you mom?" I looked at her
"Me what?"
"Who is Roberto? And it's his birthday today?" I looked at her and she looked really sad but tried to cover it up
"Who told you about him?" My dad looked mad about something
"I heard mom saying it when she was on that chair while I was hiding behind the door" I said a bit scared thinking they'll be mad
"Hey is my real father?"
"I'm changing subjects, Recardo how many times do we have to tell you! Your-not-adopted and-"
"Then who is he? And why is mom about to cry?" I said looking at mom while pointing to her
"Well I had something in my eye sorry he's one of your uncles that died before.....before.." a tear ran down her check
"Before you were born, Recardo. Now Ellie don't cry or it'll be bad for the-"
"JOSEPH! Por favor cállate- (Joseph please be quiet-)"
"Que pasa? (What going on?)" I was looking at them with a confused face
"We wanted to ask you a question?" My mom smiled at the end and touched her stomach
"That I'm gonna have a sibling?" I looked at them both when I saw her touching her stomach
"What?" She looked a bit surprised
"How did you-"
"Because, mom keeps rubbing her hand on her stomach and yes I would love to have a little...uh?....Do you know if it's a boy or a girl?"
"It's too early for that but you sure you're okay with having a sibling because it's ok that you're jealous because now you won't have that much attention on you anymore?" My mom said smiling when me and dad came and touched her stomach
"No I'm okay I'll be the one protecting her or him"
