“This is a very bad idea, Luna,” Frank says as they run along.
The three of them had snuck out of the village and past the patrol, who was conveniently caught up talking to Onyx. Selene didn’t want to do it. She had wanted to obey her Alpha. But she knows she’s the only one who can distract the High Priest long enough for the Northern troops to come through the gate.
“I’m inclined to agree with you,” she says as they keep to the darkest places of the forest. “But, we don’t have a lot of other options. If I had brought this plan up in the meeting, I guarantee no one would have allowed it.”
“I can’t say I would have voted for it,” Frank replies while slowing them down.
A group of coven members walks right past their hiding place before they continue.
“What’s Onyx going to think when he finds you’re gone?” Frank asks, hitting her in her weak spot.
