Chapter 25: CHAPTER TWENTY-FIVE

"Find Natasha," she heard Lorenzo order.

"Why would they bother looking for me when I'm right here?" she asked, heads snapping to face her as she gracefully came out from the house. "I apologize for not hearing the alarm go off. I must have overslept," she lied.

Natasha was lucky to have been able to slip away when she heard everyone exiting the house.

Initially, she had wanted to leave when Antonov left with the girl, but Lorenzo soon came out. She lost all hopes of making it, especially when his footsteps and breathing were dangerously close to the door. 

She thought it was over, but when it moved away to open another door she never knew was close to hers, she exhaled. When she heard about the altercation between Lorenzo and Laura, she got interested.

There was someone else after Lorenzo other than her.
