"I swear, if I get hit by of that water..." Dean threatens.
Lucifer aims a water balloon at him just for that, but Michael takes it away before he can throw it.
"Leave Dean out of it," Michael tells him. "The Winchesters have had more than enough of you."
"Oh, had more than enough?" Jesus repeats, visibly pissed off. "But me, I'm fair game, huh?"
Michael and Lucifer look at each other, shrug, and say some variation of "Yeah, pretty much."
"Wh—" Jesus starts, but he's silenced by a water balloon to the face, courtesy of none other than Lucifer. Jesus picks up a water balloon from the bucket Gabriel made for him and throws it at him, but it's so weak it doesn't even break when it hits his calf. He tries again, but gets the same reaction when it hits the archangel's chest as well.
Gabriel sighs. "You know what? I tried to play along, but I just can't." He throws a water balloon at the floor in front of Jesus, watching with satisfaction as it explodes and soaks his legs. "I'm switching teams."
"Nice," Lucifer replies, giving him a high five.
Suddenly, Jesus disappears. It's become common knowledge these last two days that he can't fly, even to escape the archangels' torment, so this causes a bit of a stir. It's not until Chuck appears that it makes sense.
"Sorry," he says, honestly seeming to mean it. "I just don't think he could handle having Gabriel against him, too. Alright, back to your regularly scheduled lives." He disappears, then comes back just to say, "And that probably means I'll have some work to do but you can pretend you have a say," before leaving again.
Gabriel shrugs and disappears to find Kali, whom he eventually finds in a bedroom and pulls a Casa Erotica with her.
Michael hesitates. He looks between Lucifer and Jo a few times, knowing that whomever he doesn't pick is most definitely going to take this personally. And with that in mind, he walks over to Jo.
Lucifer clenches his teeth and walks out of the room silently. Wow. Even after two days of quality Mikey-and-Luci time, he picks her. What the hell is this? She seemed perfectly happy talking to Sam and his little sex toy these last few days. Why couldn't Michael just leave them alone and stay with him instead?
