waiting for his auxiliary soul to complete its 'update' cain began to refine his body with the new knowledge of 'qi' that cultivators would use. cultivators were people that couldn't use mana like mages, a mage had a mana core and would absorb mana through mana veins that would lead to said mana core. in cain's case, he had fused his mana core with his heart and his mana veins with his blood veins. cultivators, however, didn't have a mana core and instead. their mana veins led to an empty space above their belly button.
cultivators and mages had different stages of power further divided into sub-stages, however, both worked in a rule of three's. right now cain would concentrate on the first stage of mages and cultivators.
as miro wasn't a mage he didn't have any knowledge on how one would cultivate, or as they called it 'meditate' but he had extensive knowledge of cultivating as he had reached the second stage called 'qi absorbing'. the first stage of mages was 'mana connection' and it had nine sub-stages the limited knowledge that miro had of this stage was that when a person with a mana core first wanted to become a mage they had to first sense the ambient mana in the air and form a connection with it. but this was as far as his knowledge went, how to forge such a connection or even sense mana was beyond him.
for a cultivator, the first stage was 'body forging' a process that would prepare the cultivator's body for the integration of 'qi'. as qi was pseudo artificial energy the normal human body would collapse if they tried to integrate it right away so the process of body forging was made, it was a combination of using the naturally absorbed mana that would lay dormant in the mana veins and using a certain breathing method while doing a specialised workout.
however, both the breathing method and workout didn't suit cain's current body as they were designed for a normal human body and cain's body was fundamentally different from humans, while there were special versions for people with special builds, even if cain had them they wouldn't work for him, not only did he have wings, a tail and horns as well as many other changes, his mana veins were basically not the same thing as a normal person's because they had been fused with his circulatory system.
because of this cain decide that he would make a version just for himself that would have all the same traits as him, the ability to change when introduced to new elements and the ability to absorb everything around it. but first, cain has to make a second set of mana veins, the reason he had to do this was that the last stage of body forging was to change your mana veins to meridians so they could hold qi instead of mana as the later stages needed this to work.
when making the new mana veins he used all the patterns he had stored from the bio-maps he had collected to his own while even taking into account miro's meridians as he had a fully formed set that cain could study so he knew what to expect his would do once they fully changed.
following the first set of cain's mana veins, the second set of mana veins flowed along his blood veins, however, they only connected to the blood veins and did not connect with the first set of mana veins as when he reached the last stage of body forging they may change the first set along with themselves.
once they reached the end there wasn't a connection like normal cultivators, but instead of being above the belly button they stopped at his heart so that once he reached the later stages the circuit would complete itself in the same way his first set of mana veins did.
after he completed the changes to his body, which made it stronger and more durable while keeping the same flexibility as before, he felt that his auxiliary soul was almost done. after a moment of waiting, he felt something change, when he first connected with the auxiliary soul he gained the ability to truly multi-task as he could do two completely different things at once with no drop in speed compared to normal. however, when the auxiliary soul completed itself he couldn't control the second thought pattern.
{Hello, me.} hearing his own voice in his head speaking to him he went to check to see if anything had changed in him. but before he could begin the image of his whole body appeared in his mind along with his voice saying "{don't worry, it's just me and myself In the white room, when our auxiliary soul updated it gained conciseness, and I was born, don't worry though I will lose control soon. the only reason you can't control the second-thought path is that it needed to adjust to two sets of conciseness in one body, ill still be able to talk to you though, so you're stuck with me until the end of time. or the auxiliary soul dies or is destroyed, then I die. anyway since I'm technically your son and your name is cain, I think ill take the name, Enoch.}
as soon as Enoch finished his sentence cain could control his second 'mind' while this may seem like it took a while it was his own thoughts so that passed in a fraction of a second {so wh-} before Enoch could finish what he was saying they both felt a disturbance outside their body. opening his eyes cain saw Richerd in front of him. "cain, the academy will be opening in a week's time so you will be starting your lessons to catch up with the others that will be attending. {guess no making that cultivation technique anytime soon than hu} 'guess not' {surprised you didn't freak out about the fact that you can hear me outside of the white room} 'well you are my thoughts so it only makes sense.' standing up and looking done on Richerd because his hight had changed while modifying his body cain said "yes, sir."
startled at cain's sudden change of tone, height and even the look in his eye Richerd sighed "what happened?" realising that Richard was asking about his change cain said "I processed miro's data, including his memories, and changed my form according to the new information I gained, sir" hearing that cain had miro's memories Richerd smiled "that's a pleasant surprise, I'm guessing that from the memories that you got from miro there is common sense and information about the eldrich?" {oh he's smart, what I would expect of Alice's bloodline}
silently agreeing with Enoch's comment cain began telling Richerd about the information he got from miro, ranging from cain's newly acquired comment sence and personality, which was his own and not miro's as he had nearly absorbed miro's memories and not become him, to the information that he had about the eldrich, including the information that miro had stolen and given them
