Chapter 13: A BITTER REVELATION

Cold winds were blowing eastward. Olivia's eyesight was becoming blurry, so she wiped it with the back of her palm and continued riding her bike home. She arrived at her destination. Rose and Mathew were concerned after the principal phoned them and described all that had occurred at school. Olivia walked to her room and shut herself up in her bathroom. She turned on the shower, sat beneath it, and began crying so loudly that no one in her house could hear her.

She stood up and switched off the shower after a while. She wiped her face with a towel and viewed herself in the mirror. What she saw next took her by surprise. Her dark eyes had turned crimson orange."How come I have crimson orange eyes!"

When the rabbit entered the room through the window, she was unable to comprehend what was happening to her.

"Lovely lady, It's only the beginning of your transformation into a fairy." Rabbit stated

"What brings you here?"

"As I told you, dear lady, I have magical powers, therefore I flew in through your open window."

"You can fly as well, am I correct?

It's all a rotten fucking dream."

"Don't freak out. Whatever is going on with you is true; if you don't believe it, pinch yourself."

She did what the bunny instructed. And she realised it wasn't a dream and she wasn't daydreaming.

"Tell me who I am. What exactly is my identity? And how did you find out so much about me, Mister?"

"You can address me as Alex. It's a long story, believe me. Is there somewhere we can sit and talk?"

"Of course, please accompany me."

Alex saw she was drenched.

"God bless this girl, the winds will come and dry her up!" Olivia was dried up as a result of this spell.

"First, allow me to properly introduce myself," Alex said, and he became a human. He was dressed in a large coat, a brown shirt, and sandy-colored pants. "I work as a teacher at Hinterland Academy."

"I'd never heard of it before."

"Of course, you didn't listen because it's not on Earth; it's on Oslimorpa, the world of various creatures."

"Now, could you kindly tell me?" she pleaded.

"You are, indeed, a fairy who was raised on Earth until now." "Oh, that means I have powers. And you'll show me how to use it! Am I correct ?"

"You are a wise fairy."

The next thing she heard was the most difficult truth she had ever heard. She discovered the identity of her biological parents.

"You are not Rose's daughter."

"What?"

This stunned her on the inside. "You are deceiving me. It is not possible. She adores me. She looks after me. We are a family. "SHE'S MY MOTHER!"

"I apologise, but this is the truth."

She went into shock for a time and didn't say anything.

"So, who are my really parents?"

"Your biological father is Matthew, and your mother is Christin, your father's first wife."

"What ?!?"

"Does this sound like a joke to you?"

"Do you expect me to come here and tell you a joke? You are completely incorrect, dear lady. If you don't believe me, just ask your parents!"

"Fine. I will!"

Upcoming...

"How Could you lie to me. My entire existence has been a deception, believing that you are my mother and you too dad."

To be continued...
