Today marks my first full day as an observer in this spectral abyss. The ungodly Ammit and its cubs behave much like creatures of the physical world, their spectral forms demonstrating a degree of predictability, much like the creatures of my world. They sleep, they hunt, and they eat. They show a surprising sense of family, the larger Ammit protectively shielding the smaller ones from danger. A behavior pattern has begun to emerge - they seem to operate on a cycle, approximately 113 Hours long.

The spectral rain arrived today, exactly as I'd predicted, precisely 113 Hours after the last downfall. The Ammit and its cubs recoil from the downpour, their fear palpable. But why are they afraid of this rain? It appears harmless, merely seeping into the environment and turning into a pure concentration of spiritual Qi in the embedded faces. Further observation is required to understand this phenomenon.
