Chapter 344: Benedito&Bobby

I put on a happy smile for Benedito as he inspected the car like a child in a candy store. He looked over the moon with the outcome and it made me so happy to know he loved it. Yet it also gave me massive anxiety seeing it in front of me. 

In fact the last time I had been around a car was when we came home from the hospital and now to be surrounded by cars just made my heart race. My palms were sweating and I could hear the blood pulse in my ears. 

I thought overtime my fear would stop but now whenever I looked at the giant grills of the Phantom, it felt like I was hearing the gunshots again. Benedito was too busy marvelling at the dashboard to hear my laboured breathing. 

My body automatically took a step back as I pressed my right hand over my heart to stop the sudden pain that appeared. I had to close my eyes and try to breathe my anxiety away but none of it was really working.
