Chapter 1: The Fiction Summoner: Chapter 1

a young man opened his eyes and immediately realized that he was no longer in his room but in a very small village with only 3 small wooden huts.

Alex was a 22-year-old man who has a slightly handsome face and who spent most of his time playing games and watching series. (movie, series, anime) His life was pretty dull, and he had a part-time job that was hardly fun. Alex would describe himself as an average person, that is very good at thinking and that he always tries to find the easiest or best way to achieve his objectives. The easiest way, when he's too lazy to do more than the minimum, which is usually the case.

He could also see that this small village is surrounded by flat land that later leads into a forest. This is the case in all 360-degrees of this small village.

In addition, the distance from the village to the forest is the same in all 4 directions, or it looked like that to Alex.

It looked extremely unnatural to Alex.

He suddenly saw a hologram-like text in front of his eyes.

[Congratulations, your race has obtained the qualification]

[Along with the Human Race, 100,000 Races also have obtained the qualification]

[Each individual of the 100,000 Races has the chance to become eternal if it survives to the end]

[In this vast new world, you not only have to face the competition of all races, but also the threat of the natives. The only thing waiting for the weak is death]

[So, keep improving yourself and make yourself stronger]

at the same time, Alex suddenly knew things he didn't know a few seconds ago.

Alex could now speak a new language that didn't exist on earth and apparently, that's for all races to be able to understand each other.

He even knew roughly what happened to him and all the other participants.

each individual participant was distributed among many worlds, just like Alex who started in a seemingly human-like world.

Every other participant in Alex's world (the world where Alex was assigned) is a direct opponent he can encounter in this world.

Alex didn't know precisely why the creator of this "competition" was doing this, but he was sure it would be a deadly survival game after hearing the greeting from the creator.

After contemplating the new knowledge, it also felt a bit game-like for Alex. Especially after he knew that there is a status, summons, auction house, shop and even several different chats function.

As Alex thought about the status, a hologram-like screen appeared in front of him.

-----

-----

It just felt too dreamy for Alex and it takes him a few seconds to process it all.

He was just a normal 22-year-old who liked games, movies, series, and animes, and the thought that he was now fighting for his life felt extremely unreal to him.

After Alex had pulled himself together a bit, he thought about what exactly his rating meant.

Alex knew that in this "game" all skills, items, and even creatures are sorted in a rating system.

------

[F (F-,F,F+)

E (E-,E,E+)

D (D-,D,D+)

C (C-,C,C+)

B (B-,B,B+)

A (A-,A,A+)

Unique: (Epic, Legendary, Mythical)]

------

In addition, each skill or item from the Unique can really only be bought or found once.

In addition, all participant races in this contest will be sorted in a separate arrangement.

[Race Rating: Inferior, Common, Advanced, Extraordinary]

Alex even knew instinctively that Humans should have a Common+ rating in this category.

That this new knowledge again was transmitted without Alex detecting it, made Alex even more uneasy than anything else about the situation, but he's trying not to think about it.

This rating is only intended to show how good the system thinks an average individual of that race will perform on this test.

This rating is not only about strength but also about intelligence and other qualities.

When Alex looked at his personal rating, he understood the advantages and disadvantages that humans have over other races.

[Combat Strength Rating: [F+]

[Strength: F+]

[Physical: F+]

[Agility: F+]

[Spirit: C-]

Because he seems to have a fairly average rating for a human, Alex knew that the Spirit rating is why humans are not considered a common or even an inferior race.

Alex even knew how these attributes were rated.

The main features that influenced the rating were:

[Strength]: Physically strength,

[Physical]: Toughness, Endurance,

[Agility]: Speed, instinctive movement, flexibility,

[Spirit]: intelligence, willpower, magic ability

magic ability sounds like intelligence and mana to Alex. Though maybe that was because he played too many games, he saw the similarities.

Alex didn't know exactly if magic ability(talent) or [Willpower] were the reason that Humans got a C- at [Spirit] but he had a big suspicion that [intelligence] was the main reason Humans scored so high in [Spirit].

Although the rating (C-) sounded relative average, Alex immediately understood that it was at least a good rating.

Or why else do humans have a Common+ as a race rating?

Certainly not because of those other terrible attribute ratings.

It wouldn't surprise Alex if there were races with an Inferior, or Inferior+, Rating that had better Physically Ratings then Humans.

But Alex didn't even have half a minute to think about it when a hologram-like screen for him appeared

[Human 0.000.000.003, because of the low race value, all humans gain a Skill at the start]

[Also, each Human's territory got seven days of protection]

[Congratulations Human 0.000.000.003, you have the Skill, [Fiction discount] obtain.]

Alex was momentarily completely confused, "What the f*ck is going on? Why am I third? and what is [Fiction discount]"

Although Alex didn't understand why he was third and if it was an advantage or disadvantage for him, he looked at the info from his new skill.

------

[Fiction discount]

[Rating: Epic] (for the Average race)

[Introduction: Every day, 100 random items that are considered fiction of your world will appear in the shop for sale. The discount percentage number is relatively random. Unpurchased items do not remain in the shop after one day.]
