Chapter 7: Going to the Right District

"Thank you so much for all of these Amos." I sincerely stated as I stared at the bag full of potatoes and around 4 cup of grains of rice.

"I'd surely pay you back twice, no, triple! I'd pay you back triple the amount of these." I spoke with a tone of gloating and carried the bag to our tiny carriage.

We chose to use this so-called "buggy carriage," which just has two seats and is ideal for the two of us, rather than really hiring an actual carriage because we couldn't afford it.

"Then I'll wait for you to return, Lady Eli, that amount would be a big help to us. But are you certain you want to leave this town? It's much safer here compared to cities."

I nodded at his question. "I'm more sure than ever. Nothing will happen if the both of us stay here. The people in this town clearly do not welcome us."

"We are not welcome in any of the towns My Lady." I disregarded what Penny said.

"I understand that this town is limiting what you can do, you can be so much more Lady Eli. And I want to thank you also for teaching Olivia, you've greatly helped her." I smiled at what he said and at the little girl around 5 years old beside him.

I've stayed in this town for almost a month now, and Amos has been incredibly kind to me and Penny. The only way I can repay him is by teaching his granddaughter to write and read.

The both treated us no different from a family and I also did.

"Thank you." I once again stated. Those words are not enough to show how grateful I am to the both of them.

They were the only one aside from Penny who gave me warmth in this unfamiliar and strange place.

"You've already thanked me enough Lady Eli. I think it's best that you leave now, the sun is already rising." He laughingly said.

"Then we 'd better go. Goodbye, I hope the two of you will be well," I crouched and sweetly smiled at the little kid. She really reminds me of my cousin just around her age.

"Goodbye Olivia, I have to leave now. I hope you won't forget what I taught you." She rolled her eyes at me and pouted her lips.

I couldn't help but laugh.

She really hates it when I teach her to write and read.

I would surely miss this girl's antics also.

"My Lady, are you ready to leave?" I nodded.

"Let's go." Penny said her goodbyes to Amos and Olivia and we were about to board the carriage when I turned back and ran back to hug Amos.

"My Lady!"

"Oh-- hahaha." Feeling his warmth made me want to cry. I would surely miss him if I go back to my world.

I felt his hand pat me in my back.

"Thank you." I once again said and looked down to see Olivia pouting.

"Do you want a hug also?" I giggled when I saw her avoid my eyes and acted as if she didn't want to.

I crouched down and hugged the small girl.

"Be good." I said and patted her little head.

"I am good. What are you talking about." She sulkily said and I felt her arms trying to hug my body and I couldn't help but laugh.

Ah, turns out this girl likes me a lot huh.

"We'll see about that." I stood up, "We really have to leave now, goodbye! I'll see you soon! I'd visit you before going back."

Before I return to my own world, I want to say farewell to them. Maybe when I figure out how to return to my world, I'll have enough money to come back here.

I boarded up the carriage.

"I never knew you were a sentimental person My Lady." Penny commented and I couldn't help but roll my eyes.

"People change Penny, and they treated the two of us so nicely."

She smiled at what I said. "I'm happy with your changes My Lady. And I'd surely miss both of them also."

It's good knowing that she's starting to open up herself to other people aside from Elivette.

"Are you certain about this My Lady?" She asked once again after a few minutes of staying silent.

"You've been asking me that question for hundred of times already."

"You're exaggerating My Lady."

"Good to know that you know that."

"I just want to know what you plan to do once we've reached Iragin since you never told me."

"Oh, didn't I tell you I'm going to the Right District?"

"You did, but I never thought you 'd do it in the end." I raised my eyebrow at her.

Does this woman do not have any trust in me at all?

"You see, I'm planning to apply to the Right District." I said with a hint of bragging and crossed my arms and stared at the passing trees.

"... I doubt they're going to accept you My Lady. You don't have any talents, you barely participated in any of your instrumental classes before. And although yo have a good voice My Lady, you're bad at memorizing notes and lyrics." I sat up straight with what she said and looked at her.

"I've noticed that you're being frank now huh." I teased, but somehow she took my words negatively.

"I'm sorry My Lady," She apologized, "What I said was out of boundary." and lowered her head.

I snorted, "Oh come on Penny. That's completely fine with me. I just noticed that you're more honest with your thoughts now compared to before, and it's better that way."

"Really My Lady? Then I wouldn't hold back." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Anyway, I do have a talent for your information, not just one, but lots."

She stared at me with questions in her eyes, "How come I didn't know that?"

"Oh I simply don't show it to people, it's a hidden talent for a reason,"

I looked at her and with bragging in my voice said,

"You see, I'm an excellent Hip hop Dancer."
