The old man remained seated on the ground, with his back to the door and his knees to his chin.

"Seems like it really did go back to the forest."

"You think so? But it's weird, isn't it?"

"What is?"

"How that Monster left."

"True... It went into old man Uso's house through the front window, and out from the back. You wouldn't expect a Monster to act that way. Much less to not even touch the old man."

"It laughed, didn't it? Once we slashed and hit it."

"Monsters like that are the worst kind-"

"Are they?" 

"Oh, Leo!"

"Are you okay? That Monster really hit you hard. Are you sure you should be walking around like this?"

"I'm fine." Leo nodded. He gestured to Ken, his brother in arms who was currently assisting him.
