It was Mo Fei's first encounter with an Explorer template player. This type of player was quite rare; on one hand, like Adventurers, Explorers had to spend points to play, and on the other, the combat capabilities of an Explorer were not very strong. Their skill set mainly focused on non-combat abilities such as climbing, swimming, diving, horse riding, communication, bluffing, and archaeology.

Though they had some self-defense abilities, it wasn't like the Adventurers, who were entirely combat-oriented by design.

The most fatal aspect was that Explorers could also die. Although it wasn't very common, bad luck could still lead to the destruction of their account. Hence, generally only some hardcore niche players would choose this template.
