The chatter in the hall continued with laughter, gossip, drinks, and food along with music. Benjamin was standing on Efthalia's side not too far away, same with Eris who was as well standing on Lucien's side.

The five old men laugh in return at Lucien's comment. Not many inside the hall were aware or had any idea about this.

"We'll take that as a compliment..." One of the old men who was Ethalia's grandfather spoke. "We have heard great things about you, and we are glad that someone like you is going to be the empress. We are indeed grateful." He lightly bowed.

Lucien became nervous when they bowed towards her. She immediately wanted to stand up and stop them from doing it however, they acted quickly.

"Please accept our humble gestures and gifts we would like to present to our new empress."
