Chapter 289: Chapter -289

The carriage which carried Lucien finally arrived at the cathedral in a few minutes. There were two more carriages following after which were no other than her brothers. Inside the carriage, Lucien was accompanied by Wilma and Renee.

"How long are you going to keep on crying?" Wilma uttered, passing another napkin to Renee. "All your make-up is getting smudged."

"B-but I can't help it." Renee wipes her rolling tears. "Lady Lucien is getting married...and..a-and..I can't even hug her." She began to wail in between her tears. "I wanted to hug her the moment I saw her in her white gown, but I couldn't do that. His Majesty was present..."

Wilma sighs and pulls out another napkin and wipes her tears. "You can hug her after the ceremony, besides, we are here now."
