"Are you interested in lady Lucien?"

Benjamin who was silently standing beside Efthalia who was working on his work suddenly questioned.

Efthalia didn't turn his attention but continued with his work. There were piles of paper laid on the table that needed his approval. "Why do you keep on asking that again?"

"If my eyes aren't deceiving, you were probably enjoying her company?"

Efthalia halts his hand from taking the other paper from the other piles. "And what makes you say that I am enjoying her company?" His tone was cold, and he wasn't pleased with the question.

"Your Majesty, if you give me permission to speak furthermore without throwing a fit, I will gladly give you a reasonable answer." Benjamin was clever enough to create a shield before he could feel the rage and he was happy with the question.
