Christopher methodically unbuckled the saddlebags, the leather creaking beneath his fingers, and placed his items inside them. He patted his chest, feeling the bulge of Rose's gift in his pocket. When he lifted his boot to set foot in the stirrup, Rose whipped her head around and stared icily at him, giving The Lord the evil eye.

It was a look that said there was no way in hell he was allowed to ride with her.

"Move forward. Love. So I can get on the saddle." He said, unamused at her glare. Waving his hand for her to move up on the saddle. He was getting fed up with her combative attitude. 

Rose refused to do as asked, shaking her head. She turned around and acted as if she did not hear a word Chris had said to her. Ignoring him completely.
