Once he was done reading through the notifications involving his spear, Valyr retrieved Sana from his back, getting a better look of how much his spear had transformed after absorbing the blood of the Greater Tidemother.
Though he knew that his spear had taken on a deeper crimson color due to the influence of the Greater Tidemother's blood, Valyr did not take note of the other changes that occurred to the spear because of it.
For one, the spear tip seemed to have gotten longer and sharper than before, sporting a geometric look to it that made it look more like a precious ruby than an actual spear tip.
Then, supporting this spear tip were multiple crimson tendrils that looked similar to the Greater Tidemother's legs, tightly gripping onto the base of the tip as it connected it to the shaft.
The next chapter involves a glimpse into various what-ifs Valyr could've taken if he was on a different path.
It also involves math, but that's something I have to worry about.
