Chapter 51: An Ethereal Being Appeared!

"What th-?!"

Goldie's father, Mr Franz Markell questions in absolute shock and disbelief.

It was a truly shocking sight!

Slightly bent over with a massive hump on her back, Goldie looked exactly like Quasimodo, from the epic story, except, she was even worse! The hump was moving vigorously and stretching out the varsity jacket behind her as her wings struggled to break free of their containment.

It looked weird… really weird.

"Wha-?... What is this? What?... How?... What is happening?!", stunned, Mr Franz Markell stammers out of an overwhelming confusion, taking his hand to his forehead.

"See, this is what I've been trying to tell you…We can't travel just as yet because of 'THAT'!"

Mrs Markell says to her husband, pointing at the monstrosity attached to Goldie's back.

"Th-they grew all of a sudden and wouldn't stop moving…", complains a very distressed Goldie, struggling to keep her varsity jacket down.
