Chapter 5: Black flood dragon
Upon leaving the auction, Luo Meng went straight to his mansion in the central part of the city.
Luo Meng sat on his bed inside his room as he looked at the Demon Crystal Fragment.
"Looks like I'm going to need more blood essence to break through the Demon King Realm, just the Crystal will not be enough." Luo meng thought, he put away the Fragment and sat down preparing to enter meditation.
"Well, I won't have to worry about finding a target to collect blood essence for now." thought Luo meng. "Near the city there is a mountain range, I heard that there is a black flood dragon on the life destruction level there."
Luo Meng stopped worrying about this matter and went into meditation.
His consciousness entered an ashura battlefield.
This battleground was the result of his ashura martial intent.
In that Battleground, he would experience countless life and death battles, where he would die countless times and be reborn countless times as well.
It is due to this martial intent that he has managed to remain undefeated to this day.
His combat skill combined with his martial intent made him an invincible being among his peers.

Luo Meng slowly opened his eyes, after 2 days he woke up from the ashura battlefield.
Behind luo meng floated a red halberd emitting a green aura.
"I didn't expect to release a battle spirit through ashura martial intent." Luo Meng thought.
"This battle spirit will make my battle against the black flood dragon much easier." Luo Meng thought, as he collected the battle spirit.
Luo Meng stood up and prepared to head for the mountain range.

Roarrrrr!!
A roar was heard as a black flood dragon attacked a giant demon.
Boom!!
Luo Meng collided with a mountain sinking into it.
The black flood dragon had bluish black skin covered with dark blue scales and its nails were especially sharp and long.
"You are too bold to come and challenge me boy." said the black flood dragon.
Boom!!
A crash was heard as Luo Meng came out of the mountain.
"You don't have to worry, the end result will be me devouring your blood essence!" shouted Luo Meng.
"Bold brat!" The black flood dragon gave another roar as Luo meng grabbed his halberd and charged.
"God's Blood Halberd!"
Luo Meng screamed as his blood enveloped the halberd.
Roarrrrr!
The dragon roared as it attacked with its claws.
Bang!
A great bang erupted from the clash of the two attacks.
The shock wave destroyed everything around them.
The two backed away as they faced each other.
The dragon roared as it opened its mouth which released strands of dark energy.
Luo Meng felt his hellish energy being quickly devoured by the dragon.
"Blood Comet!"
Scarlet hellish energy enveloped Luo meng.
He shot towards the dragon like a comet.
Bang!
Luo Meng hit the dragon's forehead leaving a large crater in it.
Ahhhh!
"Bloody brat!"
The dragon swung its tail, knocking Luo Meng to the ground.
Luo Meng rose from the ground with some injuries that soon healed.
Luo Meng began to circulate supernatural blood power, his body began to emit an aura of blood, as his combat power increased.

[hours later]
After a few hours of fighting, the area was completely destroyed, the ground was stained with blood.
That blood was dragon blood!
Roarrrrr!
The black flood dragon was floating around as it roared fiercely.
His body was full of craters that leaked large amounts of blood nonstop due to Luo Meng's concept of blood.
"Hehe, black flood dragon looks like you're already close to death."
Luo Meng was mocking the dragon in the sky.
But his situation wasn't much better, his body was exhausted from using supernatural blood power for so long, his hellish energy was only 20% full.
"I didn't think it would be so difficult to kill that damn dragon, I've already used most of my martial skills, even battle spirit wasn't able to give me a clear advantage against him." Luo Meng thought.
The black flood dragon's eyes gleamed with killing intent.
"Damn giant demon!, Don't think you'll be able to kill me so easily!!"
His body began to emit black lights.
Luo Meng sensed immense danger coming from the black dragon. Before he could do anything, the dragon opened its mouth and released a breath of black energy.
"Blood demon descends!"
Luo Meng quickly began to burn his blood essence to defend himself from the black flood dragon's breath.
Boom!!!
Ahhhh!
Luo Meng screamed in pain as his lower body was completely destroyed.
Ahhhh!
A blood core appeared and released a large amount of blood energy, rebuilding his lower part, however this part of his body would have to be cultivated again to reach the same strength as before.
This core was the vital core obtained at 5th level of the Blood Tyrant's Devil Art.
Again a black glow surged towards Luo Meng.
Luo Meng saw the black flood dragon getting ready for another puff!
"Cursed dragon!"Luo Meng roared in fury.
"Blood demon descends!"
"Supernatural Blood Power!"
"Blood Comet!"
Luo Meng used his strongest techniques and charged towards the dragon at surprising speed!
Roarrrrr!
The dragon roared as he released another puff of dark energy!
The blood comet violently collided with the dark energy beam.
The power of the two was so great that it destroyed the space around it!, forming a hole in the void.
The hole in the void began to suck in everything around him, including the two of them.
Before they could get out of the hole in the void, a space storm arose sending the two off to some unknown place!

[Moments later]
In a place where darkness took over each location, the space broke apart revealing two unconscious figures who had fallen to the ground.
Bang!!
After a few minutes, one of them woke up looking around.
That person was Luo Meng!
He looked at the black flood dragon for a moment, then realized that the dragon could not withstand the space storm and died.
"Humph, a mere flood dragon thought he would be able to kill me." Luo meng mocked the now dead black flood dragon.
He turned his gaze to a giant structure beside him.
It was a giant temple of black stone with eight black dragon statues at its entrance.
