In any normal terms, it didn't sound absurd to find a terranidan alien in one of their own ships. It would be absurd to question the occurrence, but in this case, the team had all rights to either be shocked or confused! 

The concept of life seemed different for the terranidans, because they were not a carbon-based species. They technically weren't immortal, but yet this alien successfully managed to survive without its body; Or, with just a pair of robotic, spider-like legs!

It was astonishing! The special 'hibernation' it had been in, likely aided such survival the most. 

Anyway, there were other things to worry about now. Most of the team were thinking of asking this alien for help, which was the most sensible thing to do right now!

The alien was cooperative too, it explained. "I'm guessing you're hunting for technology here, there's nothing special in this room."
