Upon casting her spell, everything changed rapidly. That was, after all, the entire point. The long ranged fighters were overwhelmed and incapable of getting proper vantage points to abuse the taniwha's weaknesses. Those near the head were suffering a similar problem, being forced to defend and dodge endless attacks, all while being kept at bay and incapable of striking anything that really mattered. And then of course, Valentina and herself had struck a wall as the taniwha's flesh turned into a toxic hazardous cloud.
Everyone was getting countered, everyone was at a standstill, and everyone was stuck and incapable of repositioning to a more suitable location. That was until Aurora Seraptish stepped in. Of course, the lieutenant general couldn't take all the credit as it was the Archduchess who had thought of the plan, but it was her spell that would make the difference now and everyone would need to depend on her own skills if things were to work out.
Not much to say today. I'm very sleepy and headachy, but am actually in a pretty good mood despite that. Here's hoping that if you're reading this, you're doing well too and, as always, I hope you're having a wonderful day!
