Chapter 5: Avengers Meeting(Finale)

Anos: "Hello there everyone. My name is Anos Voldigoad. And you all wouldn't stop talking about me, so I came to see what's up."
Everyone in the room trembled as Odin spoke out fearfully.
Odin: "L-Lord Anos! Too what do we owe the pleasure of you being here? I thought you were enjoying New York?"
Anos just smiled in amusement at the question asked as he replied.
Anos: "As I said before, you were talking alot about me, that I can't help but want to join your little talk. And as for my exploration, I am still currently exploring the City.
Hawkeye was the first to reply.
Hawkeye: "What bullshit are you spouting?! How can you be exploring New York if your right here?!"
Even as he screamed, his tone was still obviously full of fear because of what he had experienced.
Anos just tilted his head in confusion as he replied calmly.
Anos: "It's called the ability to make clones young man. The original body is currently exploring and he sent me a clone of himself to see why you guys keep talking about me."
Most of the Avengers looked at Anos with surprise and fear. Surprise that he's so willing to speak considering how the three leaders of powerful factions were speaking about him as if he was a God that liked looking down on other's, and fear because they still haven't forgotten about what they experienced just now. And though Nick Fury was just as scared as everyone else in the room were, he decided to try and get some information about Anos from the clone itself as even if it's just a clone, it should still have the originals memories.
Nick Fury: "Anos Voldigoad, what exactly are you? As Earth's guardian's, it's our job to get as much information on possible threats to our planet, and considering the actions taken by three powerful factions with their own army's, I need to know if you are a threat that we must prepare to neutralise or not? "
The Ancient One, Zeus and Odin were furious with Nick's words. So much so they even went as far as placing an enormous amount of pressure on Nick Fury and warning him.
Nick Fury staggered as he grunted in pain.
Nick Fury: "Ughh."
Yao: "Nicholas Joseph Fury, be careful of how you speak to Lord Anos. Your words might just bring about the destruction of the planet you claim to want to protect."
Zeus and Odin nodded their heads in agreement as Odin was the next to speak.
Odin: "It's not just this planet that you are placing in danger, it's also the hidden pantheons that live in another dimension connected to the earth. You will not just be putting innocent humans at risk of death, but even the people of our respective pantheons will possibly suffer because of your poor decisions."
And finally, Zeus spoke.
Zeus: "Understand this mortal, we have been alive for thousands of years and are far more knowledgeable than you humans are about the Demon King Of Tyranny. All it might take is you saying the wrong words and all life on this planet will disappear."
Nick Fury gritted his teeth as he couldn't even speak. But Nick Fury didn't need to as agent Natasha Romannoff spoke up seemingly very irritated.
Natasha: "Zeus, Odin, and Yao was it? I wanna know what makes you think Anos Voldigoad would even destroy this planet if we somehow manage to anger him? Wouldn't it be more logical to just kill the person who angered him instead of an entire race?"
Odin scoffed as he replied.
Odin: "You might not know this young lady, but Anos Voldigoad has caused great grief and agony to many creatures in the past. He killed them endlessly over, and over again! And once he got bored of it he released the people he tortured and cursed them with immortality to never allow them to end their psychological suffering."
This time it was Clint who replied.
Clint: "Well, you never know, they might have crossed his bottom line that made him torture them."
Zeus laughed at Clints reply and spoke.
Zeus: "Young man, these creatures he tortured was an entire planet's race! And he did it merely because he was bored! An entire planet of innocent creatures all killed endlessly all because he was bored! Tell me, does that sound like a person you'd wish to offend?"
Everyone became silent hearing this proclamation. As Captain America spoke next his voice carried a tone of worry and anxiousness.
Captain America: "Excuse me lord Odin, but these creatures you said that was tortured endlessly, have they been released of their curse?"
Odin shook his head slowly, turning the atmosphere gloomy. And just when they thought Odin would explain more, it ended up as Yao who spoke instead of Odin.
Yao: "During my training to become Sorcerer Supreme, I was shown by my master the state of these alien's were completely broken. Men, Women, Children, even the elderly and disabled were not spared."
This time Tony spoke up.
Tony: "I don't understand something, how did he give an entire planet worth of aliens immortality? Its unscientific!"
Odin: "Are you saying that the power we God's use are also meant to follow scientific principles?"
Tony: "You never know man, it's simply too hard for someone like me to believe in things like magic."
Zeus replied to Tony's words.
Zeus: "Well then young man, I'm afraid you have no choice but to believe that magic exists. It's a pretty common thing for some creatures. They can manipulate souls, cause fire to burn without fuel, and many other unscientific things."
Tony still looked irritated as he spoke.
Tony: "All I'm hearing is that magic is a form of science I have yet to understand."
Meanwhile Anos's clone was just watching everyone complaining, talking, and bantering with each other in massive amusement as he thought to himself.
Anos: 'To think the day would come where I wld actually be forgotten about. This is quite amusing. No, this is the most amused I've felt in along time.'
Tony: "By the way, are we forgetting something important?"
Clint: "Something important? I don't think so? Hey Banner! Are we forgetting something important?"
Bruce Banner or his other name known as the Hulk simply stayed quiet. However his lack of reply made Clint confused as he saw the scientist awfully quiet.
Clint: "He Bruce, why are you so quiet?"
Everyone else also looked at Bruce in curiosity as he blankly looked at everyone and pointed a finger at a certain direction causing everyone to look at where he was pointing only to see Anos Voldigoad looking at them all with an amused smile.
The entire room fell silent as they suddenly remembered about Anos being here. However, Odin, Zeus, and Yao acted with a bit to much of an overreaction. The three powerhouses of the Earth were all kneeling before Anos as they spoke, reverence, and fear evident in their tone.
Yao: "Lord Anos, I hope you can forgive us for such an unsightly attituted. We are all terribly sorry for forgetting your presence."
Odin: "If you want, I would be more than willing to hand over Asgard to you if it means you can forgive us my Lord. We were blinded by these humans talking, and had forgotten that you were still with us!"
Zeus: "As the two before said, we are all extremely sorry for forgetting your being, I hope you will forgive us for such transgression by giving ownership over Olympus to you my Lord. We were simply answering the questions asked by these mortals, and seemed to have gotten to invested into the conversation to realise that you were waiting! We have offended you, and are wishing for your forgiveness oh mighty Demon King."
Everyone became surprised seeing their action's, even Nick Fury who was finally released from the pressure placed on him by the three couldn't help but frown in worry wondering what Anos will do next.
Anos's eyebrows twitched in annoyance at their words as he looked at each of the three before sighing and speaking.
Anos: "None of you need to bow before me. Right now you are all leading figures of your groups and Kings to some. How do you think they will react to the news that their King's dared to lower their head in front of another. Only if you come to my Castle will you have to kneel before the throne, otherwise, there is no need for such an overreaction. Now raise your heads, only when in my castle will you ever kneed to kneel. Otherwise, you are completely fine."
Everyone became surprised at Anos's words, to think that he actually cares for another rulers image. But still, some of them questioned Anos.
Captain America: "Anos Voldigoad, is it true that you actually tortured an entire planet's species simply because you were bored?"
Anos just nodded his head confirming the words of Odin, Zeus, and Yao.
Captain America: "Isn't that too much?! Innocent aliens are probably still suffering as we speak!"
Anos just nodded his head as he replied.
Anos: "Yup. Even until now, they are still in an endless cycle of death and rebirth."
Captain America: "Could you please end their eternal suffering."
Anos merely raised an eyebrow at Captain America's words. But still, Anos replied to the question asked.
Anos: "Why do you care? You aren't related to them in anyway, and it's already been billions of years since that happened. Quite a few of them managed to recover and even have children and are still helping those suffering from the 'horrendous memories'."
Captain America: "Regardless, at the very least free them of their curse."
Anos shook his head shocking Captain America as he screamed.
Captain America: "Why not?! Some of them may have recovered, but some would find peace in death."
Anos: "Do not forget this human, they are a race that has been cursed with immortality for billions of years even until now. Ending their curse will cause alot of problems for them who has grown used to living forever. Besides, they can still die, it'll just take destroying their souls to do so. I simply prevented them from ever going mad and granting them immortality. If I took that right now they may all cause unnecessary chaos."
Captain America: "You truly are a Demon King Of Tyranny."
Anos shrugged his shoulders as he didn't really care what others may think. However, he was a little curious as he asked Captain America.
Anos: "Tell me human, you look like a person who would yell at me saying what I'm doing is wrong or even possibly evil. Or is it that I've misjudged your character?"
Captain America was stared at by everyone as he took a deep breath and replied.
Captain America: "You are right, more than anything else, I want to tell at you telling you that what your doing is wrong, bad, downright evil and despicable. But I'm holding myself back, because I don't wish for any problems to start escalating."
Anos's eye's narrowed as he spoke.
Anos: "Your kindness is unwarranted human. They are complete strangers whom you've never met, and they've learned to live with this curse. Though your heart is pure and righteous, it's pointless to aim that righteous behaviour to a group that you know nothing of. Would you try helping a killer if he told you he did it for his family?"
Captain America became quiet hearing Anos's words as he sighed defeatedly. Realising that they were done chatting, Nick Fury spoke up.
Nick Fury: "Anos Voldigoad, I want to ask three more questions before I end this meeting."
Anos: "Just three? You look like the kind of person that would ask an infinite number of questions and not just to satiate your own curiosity."
Nick Fury merely clicked his tounge in annoyance as he spoke.
Nick Fury: "Trust me, I really do want to ask you an infinite number of questions, but I believe that it's best to allow everyone here to digest the information completely. And I know with the questions I wanna ask, everyone will need time to let everything they've just seen and will possibly learn sink in."
Anos looked at Nick Fury with mock shock! Causing Nick Fury endless amounts of irritation as Anos spoke.
Anos: "Colour me surprised and impressed, you can care for others huh? Here I thought you were a slave driver who expects hardwork with no reward."
Nick Fury's eyebrow twitched in annoyance as Tony held back a snort. But just a second afterwards, Nick Fury became serious as he spoke.
Nick Fury: "First question. Are you a threat to this planet and its inhabitants? After all, you confirmed that you have no problems torturing an entire species just to relieve your boredom."
Anos: "I don't care. I only tried torturing because I was bored and wanted to try something different instead of instantly killing my opponents. It was a rather boring experience."
Most of the Avengers frowned at Anos's words but decided to stay quiet as Nick Fury asked another question.
Nick Fury: "As much as I hate asking this, would it be possible to have you become a protector of this planet?"
Everyone gasped in shock as they looked at Nick Fury. And before anyone could even protest his words, Anos spoke up.
Anos: "No. My standing in this Multiverse is completely neutral. I do not help anyone with their problems. However, if you desire temporary power, you can strike a deal with me to get the strength necessary for what you wish to accomplish."
Nick Fury: "What's the price for this borrowed strength?"
Anos: "Will this be your last question?"
Nick Fury paused for a bit as he thought long and hard about it before he nodded his head. After all, depending on the price needed to pay, it may not be a bad offer.
Anos: "Depends on the level of danger you're facing. If its someone or something that is weaker than you, the price will just be rare minerals or materials, the stronger the thing you wish to temporarily surpass the greater the price."
Everyone looked intrigued at Anos's words as Tony spoke.
Tony: "Say I wanted enough power to rival you, what's the price?"
Everyone looked at Tony in shock hearing his question, but Anos didn't mind as he calmly replied.
Anos: "You'd need to be worth more than an infinite number of Scarlet King's, or be as powerful as S Andrew Swann's Proposal to make a deal to get my power's."
Tony: ".... Infinite number of Scarlet King's? Swanns Proposal? Who the hell are they?"
Anos: "Entity's that you'll never reach. Be it in terms of their knowledge or power."
Tony looked irritated, but he wanted this meeting to end already, so he spoke.
Tony: "I have my fair share of questions I wish to ask. However, I just want to know one more thing. Is there any science behind magic?"
Anos: "Yes. But not for all kinds of magic. There are some that follows scientific laws, and some that doesn't follow said laws."
Tony merely noded his head before turning to Nick Fury and speaking.
Tony: "Oi edgy pirate, end this meeting already, I wanna go home and rest already."
Nick Fury looked irritated at Stark, but still did as he said.
Nick Fury: "Good Job all of you, you may all leave now and get some much deserved rest."
Although reluctant to, most of the Avengers did ended up leaving the aircraft as well as Anos who simply turned into nothing but dust and disappeared. Nick Fury sighed tiredly after everyone left as he spoke to himself.
Nick Fury: "I think I've done enough to warrant a vacation....Right?"
