He laughed. "Yes, I did. And trimmed the beard too. Do you like the new look?"

I nod eagerly. Do I ever! His hair is still long, but it has been cut to shoulder length, framing his face in elegant waves. His rough beard has also been trimmed into a shorter, distinguished look. I don't know what has been done to his face, but it also looks softer.
