Chapter 134: I Ain’t Divine

Miguel felt really bad as he looked at Gemma how was he supposed to tell her the true reason for which he married her? If she found out, whatever little love she had for him would be gone. He can't tell her that.

"Miguel please," Gemma pleaded with tears in her eyes but Miguel slowly shook his head. He really did wish that he can give her what she wants, but he can't.

"I'm sorry Gem," he said in a broken voice.

"Don't step out of that door Miguel," Gemma threatened, tears now streaming down her cheeks. "Don't step out without answering my question," she pleaded.

Miguel paused for a few seconds and then he started walking to the door again.

"If you step out of that door, if you dare walk through that door without telling me what I asked, whatever hope we have of making this work will be gone," she threatened. Miguel turned to look at her and saw that she was serious.
