Chapter 115: How Do You Deal With Loss?

Gemma was lying on the bed and had her face to the wall when Miguel walked in.

He could hear her sniffling, it was as if she had been crying. Was she really crying? Why cry when she was the one who aborted the baby herself? He wondered. Or was she regretting her action already?

"How are you feeling?" He asked in a cool tone, not knowing what to say to her.

Gemma's response was a sniffle, she still had her face to the wall. Miguel pulled his fingers through his hair not knowing how to address the issue, he was pissed that she had decided to abort the baby, but seeing her cry made him at a loss for words.

She looked truly broken, and it made him confused. Or she could be pretending, probably she was just putting up the act so he wouldn't suspect that she was the one who aborted the baby.

She definitely had no idea that the doctor had already told him about what she did--.

"Would you like me to call your mother?" Miguel asked.
