Chapter 61: His Way

Miguel sat in his kitchen with a stuffy nose. His eyes were puffy and itchy. He chuckled as he placed two tablets of his allergy medication in his mouth and swallowed.

He should have known Gemma was going to try this. After all, she is very mischievous.

He is definitely going to have his hands full.

He was still in the kitchen when he heard a knock on his front door. When he went to check who it was, he saw Helen standing there. He hissed a breath as he opened the door.

"Oh my God, what happened to your face," Helen asked when she saw his puffy eyes.

"It's nothing, just this stupid allergy," he groaned.

She brought her hand to his cheek. "Where did you go that you got exposed to the allergen?" Helen asked with concern. She already knows about Miguel's allergy right from when they were kids.

"Have you taken…."

"Yes. Why are you here?"
