Chapter 44: Could It Get Any Worse?

Gemma paused for a second, did he just order her to sit down? Or she didn't hear well?

"I believe you heard me the first time, I said sit down, we aren't done yet!" Juan repeated in a stern tone, that almost made Gemma pull his hair out of their roots.

A humorless chuckle escaped Gemma's lips. "You must really think yourself to be important if you think you can come to my father's house and then order me around."

"I said sit down Gemma, I won't repeat myself again," Juan said in a now relaxed tone.

"And what if I don't? because I'm not going to do anything that you tell me to, so I would like to know what it is that you have planned to do if I refuse to obey you." 

Juan stood up, and they were now facing each other, Gemma folded her arms across her chest daring him to do his worst. She knew he wouldn't be able to hurt her in her father's house, not with all the soldiers present.
