Chapter 3: World
Next day he woke up at sunrise. His appearance was haggard. His eyes were puffy, he had a dark circle under his eyes.
He couldn't sleep in his small hut because there wasn't any bed and even the floor was uneven.
He quickly freshened up.
While he had no idea what type of world he was currently in, he was more inclined that this was a cultivation world.
As for his system being different, he thought there should be some type of plot.
In a bag, he packed everything that could be useful to him. He took a rusty sword with him and some clothes.
After asking for some food in the village, a kind lady gave him bread.
After eating and storing the remaining bread in his bag, he set off to Springstar City.
As for how he will go to the city?
Sprinstar city was 100 kms far. It would take him at least 25 hours on foot and there was a carriage in a village, but to take a carriage he needed money which he didn't have.
He could ride on a horse or donkey or any animal, but villagers were not kind enough to give Robert their animals for free.
He could count on his luck and start his journey to Springstar city on foot.
After 3 hours.
Robert was exhausted. He couldn't even walk now. From his estimate, he should have at least covered 12 kms in 3 hours but he knew he hadn't even walked 7 kms and he was still exhausted.
Robert dispaired.
Robert hasn't worked out even once in the last 30 years in his world. He didn't need to. He was rich and also was old, so he had become lazy and did nothing.
Even his new body wasn't fit. He looked like a malnourished person. He didn't know the kind lady gave him bread out of pity.
After resting for 2 hours, he started his journey once more. He calculated if he went at this pace he would reach the city in 44 hours, including sleep and resting.
But he knew it would take him more than 44 hours.
After traveling, in sometime he soon noticed a creature. It was small, circular, bouncy. Its colour was blue. It looked harmless.
Robert instantly recognized the creature it was..... Slime.
Roberts' worldview changed again. Now he knew that this wasn't a cultivation world.
There couldn't be any slime in cultivation world.
Just as he was lost in thoughts, the slime attacked him. Robert didn't know what to do.
In his defence, he pointed his rusty sword in front of himself. The slime clashed with the sword and it...died.
Robert was stunned. He didn't even know what happened before he realized the slime was dead.
But Robert wasn't stunned because of that, he was stunned because there was a message on the screen which only he could see.
