Adam looked at the boy in front of him with some astonishment.
He had thought that the boy was just bluffing when he said he had something good.
After all, the boy didn't look like he possessed anything worthwhile.
But it turned out that there was indeed a surprise.
Adam looked at the boy's hand.
In his hand, a small metallic fragment lay there.
The fragment was pale in color with a faint layer of green markings, similar to rust.
At a glance, it appeared to be just a piece of scrap iron and not proper item.
If someone else saw this, they might have deemed it a worthless junk.
But Adam didn't think so.
He felt a familiar sensation emanating from it.
That sensation originated from the golden hourglass.
Adam reached out, took the fragment from James's hand.
Then the hourglass immediately reacted.
The golden hourglass started to glow slowly, the light seemed very gentle, and it slowly drew something out of the fragment.
