Chapter 74: Here's Delirious!
"Those bastards! To think they planned to hostage me to lure my friends!! I'll show them what's not to mess with the Delirious!" Delirious punched the city wall angrily and created a crater on it from his superhuman strength.
Currently, he has left the defensive line together with Gracie. On the way, Gracie had explained to him what was happening.
When Delirious heard that the Count was planning to use him as a hostage to get his friend Marcel's Netherite sword, Delirious was pissed off.
"Where are they now!?" He asked.

Gracie nodded. She closed her eyes for a moment before pointing in a direction.

Delirious nodded in understanding. Although he did not know much about Gracie's ability, he only knows it's like dreaming the future or something. Brock had confirmed its existence, so it made sense.

In a building, two people stood by the window, watching Delirious and Gracie motives, following them after they caught sight of them.
"Hey bro, is it me or that little cat demi-human is heading towards the building we are in." One of the men asked.
"Maybe it's just your imagination, Gracie is just a mere Rank 1, how could she find us when two Rank 3 experts like us specialize in stealth? Calm down, you were always being paranoid."

Suddenly, a loud bash noise was heard behind them.

The huge noise was heard once again, the reinforced Orichulcum door bent once it continued.

"Hey! Let me in! I want to join your little orgy party there!" A voice yelled out with a psychopathic tone.
"Oh shit!" The man's eyes widened as he looked back.
Outside the room, Delirious clenched his bare fist and pulled it back.
"Please forgive me. I need to put up a little resistance, after all, it would be a shame if I did not try to play your boss' little game, am I?"
Smirking like a madman, Delirious started to hit the reinforced Orichulcun door before him.
The whole building trembled, the stone constructs provided the structure trembled. Cracked under pressure. Seconds passed, but he was relentless, Delirious started to use all of strength alone to break the door.
Accelerating the process, he strike, strike, strike, clang, clang, clang, boom, boom, boom, blast! The door started to bend and cracks appeared on its surface.
The two men backed in horror. Impossible, the door was made out of high quality orichulcum, they thought Delirious should be able to crack it in the next few minutes. Not even normal Rank 4 experts were able to bend the metal under such a short time.
"Gemini!? How much is that spell going to cast!?" He asked with wide eyes. Turning to his partner.
"Can't! I'm just a talentless magic caster! A 4th tier spell is incredibly hard to use that shit!" His partner yelled as he was about to cast his strongest attack.
"Come on, stalkers! I'm coming for you!"
"Only seconds!"
The man prepared his weapons. His partner, Gemini slowly casted his spell as he sweats heavily.
"Come out, come out, wherever you are!"
"10, 9, 8, 7, 6..."
"Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in...

Then I'll huff...

...and I'll blow your house in!!" Delirious sang as he stroked the door with his fist at his full strength.
"5,4,3..."
But then, Delirious broke out a smaller chunk from the door and looked through it. Showing his terrifyingly pleasant face.
"Here's Delirious! Hehehehe~!"
"It's done. Now eat this, bastard! [Fireblas-"
*BAM!*
Before the man could cast his magic, the metal door broke and was blasted to the magic caster, hitting him and putting him unconscious in the process.
"Gemini-!"

Cutting him off was Delirious that gave him a knuckle sandwich.
"Man, no orgy party here, shame."

Half a minute after Delirious dealt with these stalkers, the masked psychopath threw the body of the two men away indifferently.
Gracie looked at him with an admiring expression. "Big brother Lirious, you are very strong!"
"Stop calling me Lirious, you forgot to put the 'DE'. 😅 "
"What 'DE'?"
Widening his eyes, Delirious looked at Gracie with a large grin on his face.
"Well, little Gracie, I got your answer right here... it is DEEZ NU-... huh?"
Before he could say anything, though, Gracie's face turned pale. Did not go unnoticed by Delirious.
"Little Gracie, what happened?"
"The shadows... big brother Lirious, we need to go! Now!"
"Gracie?"
"Hurry up!"
Delirious could only nod in confusion. One second later, he put Gracie on his back and left following Gracie's directions.
Meanwhile, tens of shadows moved around the city, slowly cornering them.

Five minutes later, Herald, Stella, and Herald's men arrived at the place where Delirious killed the two men.
When Herald saw the two corpses, his face turned ugly. "Damn it! How did
he discovered them!?"
Nobody could answer him. Although the strength of these two men was nothing great, they were trained to erase their presence almost perfectly. If they kept a certain distance, then even individuals one or two ranks above them could not detect them.
Herald cursed his luck inwardly. Was their plan going to fail before even starting? However, he soon calmed down and started to think.
