Chapter 39: Power's new live
It's has been a week since Power got herself summoned by white haired boy that called himself Levi and his sister Yuki. Usually she will kill whatever creatures that crossed her path at first sight, but she held back to not attack them because her instinct told her that they are stronger than her, besides at that time she was short of blood, so if she chose to fight she wouldn't last long and would lose to them.
Power didn't want to accept that, so she convinced herself that she lost just because there were two people and she is just alone.
But the thought of killing Levi changed when she discovered he can create a dead animal body out of thin air to feed her. So she changed her her plan for killing him to keep him around her so he can provide her food forever. She proud of her decision because this full week she doesn't need to go to hunting again.
But that also brought some drawbacks, because she, who had been living in the forest and often hunted animals, had a hard time getting rid of that habit.
Once when she saw humans other than Levi and his lovers, she wanted to attack them and suck their blood until until they dry but fortunately Levi was able to prevent her from doing that.
It also made Levi aware to always keep Power in the [Inner World] when he doesn't around, so she doesn't attack other people, plus it would be difficult to explain to people about Power because of her appearance.
Therefore, right now Power was leaning on the roof of the house in [Inner World] with her hands behind her head, enjoying the night sky at there. Although no one knew how the space system worked in the [Inner World], but Levi wanted to find out immediately if he had a way to fly and be able to breathe in outer space.
"Nyaa." Suddenly a white cat beside Power then leaped toward her stomach and then laid there.
Yes, it was the cat that Levi brought to here. After Power treatment and her taking care of it, the cat body that previously skinny, now have gained some weight and become healthy with nutriments they give to her. And yes, they discovered that the cat gender is female after some checking.
Because Levi forced the cat on her, Power then named her Nyako, and because she said she had the right to give names to the cat that she had saved and also took care of.
Of course Levi didn't mind that, instead he felt grateful to Power, because he was bad at giving names. Even in his first life he give his cat such cringe name, that make him want to cry when he realize that and then grovel to his cat for forgiveness.
Anyways back to present, Power then looking at Nyako on her stomach, and start to caressing her head that make Nyako to purring.
"Before I'm trapped in this situation, I've killed all who've met my eyes." Power mumbled while still caressing Nyako. She then countiued. "It's strange to hear a voice that isn't screaming."
"Nyaa." Suddenly Nyako then get out of Power stomach and start to go down from the roof.
"What is it Nyaako?" Power asked looking at her cat.
"Oh~ Do you want to do something else then?."
Suprised by the voice that asking her, Power then looked up and see Levi bending over and smiling at her. "What are you doing here?"
"Oh, about that, I was just going to refills the storage for some meat and happened to see you lounging on the roof so I then eavesdropped on you~" Levi said playfully, he then countiued with his question before. "So what do you want to do? do you want to fight me?"
Hearing Power eyes lit up then she stood up from her position while exclaimed. "Then let's fight!"
Right after that an axe made of blood slashed toward Levi, but thankfully Levi has trained his instincts after his remedy about overrelying his skill like [Observation Haki], he then evade the attack by little margin and then jumped off from the roof and landed on the ground.
Power then followed him to the ground and declared. "Gahahaha! Don't die human! because unlike the previous fight, this time I will go all out!"
After that she then dashed toward him and slashed her axe toward Levi's neck, this time Levi was ready with a Nichirin Sword and block her attack.
Attack after attack from Power, Levi just repelled it by either blocking or evading her attack.
"Gahaha! is that all you got!" Power taunted while a blood of spear she just created lauched at Levi.
Ignoring her taunting, Levi then evade the spear and thought in his mind. 'She has better brute force but lack of techniques that make it easy to evade her attack, but that's covered by her [Blood Manipulation] ability which makes her all-rounded because she can make any weapons and use it for suprise attack.' Levi pondering while dodging a spike of blood from the ground that tried to pierce his heart.
"Tch." Power clicked her tongue whe seeing her surprise attack was failed.
'Let's try her regenerative power as a devil then.' Levi thought, he then piercing Power body with his sword faster than Power could see and react properly.
"Agkh!" Power groaned in pain and then took a step back while coughing some blood.
"Are you okay? I tried not to hit your vitals because I wanted to know if you had the same regenerative power as the demon I has faced before." He asked in worry.
"*Cough* Don't worry I'm strong!" She said energeticly while wiping the blood on her mouth, she then showing of her wound that has already closing to Levi, so he didn't need to worrh about her. "Now let's continue!"
But when she was about to dashed at Levi, Power suddenly fell down with her eyes open in shock.
Levi who saw that was of course worried, he then approach her and asked while slapping her cheek a little. "Hey are you okay?! "
"....ol...d" Power groaned unclearly.
'What? Vermeil what she want to say?' Because he don't clearly hear what Power want to said, he then asked Vermeil for confirmation.
[I think she need some blood Master~]
'Does Devil get anemia too?' Levi thought sarcasticly about this situation. 'Anyway, Vermeil help me buy a blood bag please.'
[With pleasure Master~]
Right after that, a blood bag come out of thin air in front of him. Levi then grabbed bag full of blood and open it, after that he let Power drink the contain inside of the bag.
*Glug* *glug* *glug*
When the blood in the bag is empty, Power then get up and said. "Gahaha! Now I have refreshed, let's fight again!"
In response to her declaration, Levi then shaking his head and said to her. "That's no need. I understand enough for your abilities now, so I'll be going~" He then disappear from [Inner World] and appeared in room where Yuki and his mother has been waiting.
Back to [Inner World]. In response to his disappear, Power then cried out. "Don't run away! Hey, come back!" She keep throwing insult to Levi to get him back, but all her efforts are futile.
She only calmed down after a few minutes because she realized that her efforts were useless to get him back, she then calmed down her breath and noticed Nyako approaching her.
"Nyaa."
She looked ar her cat for few moment before finnaly said haughtily. "Gahaha! You're right Nyako! He run away because he is afraid of my power!"
"Nyaa~"
