Chapter 224: I'll Deal With It Alone

After Ebari left the training room that morning, he felt so foolish.

At his age, he wasn't supposed to be feeling jealous like someone had stolen his first love from him. He was older than that and more weathered. He had spent well over a decade pining over someone who openly slept with other people in front of him. So why did seeing Galen putting his arm around another man be what had triggered him into behaving that way?

He had spent two weeks thinking he was over it but the moment he saw Galen in the training room with all of his muscles on display, Ebari remembered what he was missing. He remembered who was within reach but just out of it at the same time.

He was mad at himself but expressed it as if he was mad at Galen. It was only his fault that he missed the opportunity of exploring anything besides a friendship with the man he saw every day.
