Chapter 188: Clearing Her Conscience

Varya couldn't get used to the man in her bed each evening. 

Whenever he came to her quarters in the late afternoon or evening, it felt like her heart was reawakened. 

The father and son relationship that was blooming before her eyes made her feel reenergized about life and the celebration of it. 

That night she lay with the Basilian prince sideways in her large bed so they could see out the window. There was a full moon that night and it was giving off a beautiful array of colors.

She had found out that the orange-ish moon was due to the high iron content in the naturally occurring rock. It had rusted, leaving people to believe that it was either a chunk of something much larger in its past for it to have experienced oxidation or exposure to water.
