Chapter 107: Setting Things Straight

The world outside the dome was murky as snowstorms raged on and covered the already-covered ground with fresh snow. The warm season on the planet barely ever went above freezing; now that it was over, snow would accumulate once more until it reached the base of the domes.

Varya sat in the library above her quarters at a wooden desk with papers spread out in front of her. There were a lot of logistics about moving the castle to a new planet, but she was determined to complete it as quickly as possible in the next few weeks.

Varya had learned by now that during this season she would get depressed unless she left all the lights on. She was someone who craved the sun each day. Having to rely so much on artificial light while it was snowing only made her want to finish it up even more quickly.
