Suddenly, Varya thought of every event in the past few years that led up to this moment. Every good thing was taken from her. Every bad thing could have been avoided if she never had crossed paths with the tyrant standing in front of her.

In spite of the evilness he had residing inside of him, she instantly worried she was going to become just like him.
