Chapter 66: Losing Hope

Beyond the thin atmosphere of Planet Ptoma, a dark blue metal orb floated silently around the planet. Occasionally, four yellow lights slowly flashed on and off, making the orb's presence known to oncoming space traffic.

This space station housed the offices of various higher-ranking soldiers. Some rooms allowed the soldiers to stay there if they wanted to. The only permanent residents were servants to wait on the soldiers or guests, and low-class soldiers who received incoming ships.

It was often a place where diplomatic meetings were held, and the larger rooms were open for leaders of other empires or kingdoms. The modern technology throughout the space station gave outsiders a glimpse of what the scientists of the Ptoman Imperial Army were capable of.
