Chapter 253: Friends [Bonus chapter]

'Is Ferdinand alright now?' Arabella had to wonder. 'May I should go help him?'

But she wasn't able to since some work from the palace came so she got busy instead.

Ferdinand avoided her as well even during breaktimes when he used to go to her study or room to have a cup of tea with her. He even told Alwin to tell her he wouldn't able to have lunch with her since he was busy.

Arabella had to attend a tea party in the afternoon so she had to go out. However, Ferdinand still didn't show up.

When she was at the gates though, she heard his thoughts. She looked up and saw him by the window of his temporary office. She smiled and sent him a flying kiss before waving goodbye. She chuckled when she could see his face turn red even at this distance.

He surprisingly waved back as well before her carriage departed.

'Haha. He's so cute. Who would have known Ferdinand would be this adorable if I get to know him? I'm so glad we are so much more open to each other in this life.'
