Chapter 234: Beginning of Tea Parties

Arabella was exhausted from checking all the gifts that night so she fell asleep shortly after she went to her room.

After he tucked her in, Ferdinand had gone out with Alwin again to scout around Medeus.

When Arabella woke up in the morning, she thought she would find Ferdinand beside her again as she usually had the previous days. But he wasn't there.

Who would have thought that just sleeping together in the same bed for a few days and waking up with him beside her, would make her room feel so empty and spacious because he wasn't around?

She touched the space beside her on the bed. It was cold. But when she checked more closely, there were folds and creases and the pillow was rearranged.

'Oh, so he was here. He must have woken up early,' a slight smile crossed her lips. Ferdinand came to her room.

Right. He was the one who insisted they would sleep in the same room even though their things were placed in different rooms.
