The sun's rays pierced through the pine needles, smashing Varis and Lian's elegant features. The rustling of the leaves serves as a soothing background for them.
Varis says gently, recalling pleasant recollections. "The voice of the tree."
Lian glanced at him, perplexed, not knowing what Varis meant because she had never been there; a Giant Oak tree on a green hill.
"Are you tired?" she guessed.
"No, not at all," Varis replied with a shake of his head, walking along the dirt path with Lian. "Do we need to speed up the pace?"
"No. We must conserve energy." She replied, taking a deep breath and admiring the natural beauty of the extensive pine-filled landscape. "Better relax, enjoy the beauty of nature."
True, nature had exhibited its greatness all around them; the air was crystal clear, pine forests flanking the path were covered in light snow, and birds cheered nonstop.
Varis' musings were interrupted when three guys hurried ahead of him and Lian as if haunted by time.
