I Will Eventually Embark On The Path Of No Return Called A Hero - 30. Farewell to The Argo
---
The heroes come back and bringing back the victory.
But in Cyd's eyes, what they brought back was a disaster.
"Cheers heroes! We've defeated the giants and saved the people here!" Jason held his glass in front of the bonfire.
Cyd and Atalanta looked at each other and came to the other side of the boat.
"I'll be off the boat soon, probably on the next island," Cyd said casually.
Atalanta froze for a moment, subconsciously clenching her fists.
"En."
"I want you to leave with me."
"Is this an order?" Atalanta tilted her head, greenish-blue hair fluttering slowly in the sea breeze.
"Would you listen if it was an order?" Cyd held out his hand to Atalanta as if joking.
Atalanta took a deep look at Cyd, then grabbed Cyd's hand.
"Ah~ I'm so touched, but unfortunately I won't order you," Cyd let go of Atalanta's hand and faced the sea, "I'm going to Calydon. There's a wild boar Artemis-sama had thrown there, and I'm going to deal with it."
"That's not really what you would say," Atalanta rested her hands on the railing, half-squinted enjoying the sea breeze.
"It really doesn't look like what I said, but~ occasionally I also want to be in the limelight," Cyd stretched, "I figured out something."
No matter what. He'd go to Calydon if he wanted to, and rather than being forced to go, he'd rather go there with his chest up.
"Are you finally thinking about being a hero?" Atalanta's eyes lit up slightly.
"Well~ even if I really want to be a hero... you definitely won't be like them," Cyd curled his lips.
"I'll shoot you in the head with my bow if you become a hero like them," Atalanta raised her hand and poked Cyd in the head.
"Really reliable."
Second day.
"That's it, the journey was so hard that I, as an ordinary person, couldn't keep up with you, so I decided to quit the journey on the next island," Cyd patted Hercules' shoulders.
"I'm the captain," Jason said as the corner of his mouth was twitching.
"Huh? You'd be able to get here without Hercules as your fuel bottle?" Unusually, Cyd showed his disdain for Jason unceremoniously.
Although Cyd from the very beginning thought so, because Jason is the favored person of the gods, and Athena values him very much, so I never put it on the surface to say it, but I watched Athena last time. It sounds like the gods... They don't care about Jason so much when they found someone more interesting.
"You..." Jason stared at him wide-eyed. It is unimaginable for him except that it was a bit surprising at first, and after that, Cyd, who has always been ordinary, will refute him, although what he said is the truth, but if he does not stand up He couldn't continue to lead the group of heroes, "In the name of the gods, I'm going to fight you..."
And then Jason was stopped by Hercules before he could finish his sentence.
"Enough Jason, you can't beat him," Hercules pressed Jason's shoulders.
"What are you talking about? He's just a little smart ordinary person, I'm..." Jason stared wide-eyed, "Hero!"
"Sorry, Jason. Cyd too is Chiron-sensei's dísciple," Hercules bitterly laughed, "Right? Sensei taught senior and junior brothers who never appeared."
"Discovered?" Cyd tilted his head.
"Well, vaguely aware of that," Hercules scratched the back of his head.
He couldn't say that Chiron once said when he set off that if he met a young man with snow-white hair and skin, he must get along well with him or something.
"So what? I'm also an excellent dísciple from Chiron-sensei," Jason clenched his fists reluctantly.
"Big hero, you were chased out of the island by a group of women before you even put on your pants," Cyd said quietly.
"Cough, Cyd, please say a little less," Hercules coughed a few times, "Would you like me to escort you when you reach the next island?"
"No, don't you have more important things to do?" Cyd gave a thumbs up, "If you can't stand it, just leave, even a close friend is enough to do this step."
Countless tic-tac-toe exploded on Jason's head, and the nerve in his head called rationality was already in a state of exploding at any time, especially after noticing the way the heroes around him were talking.
"Cyd get off my boat immediately!"
Hercules was stunned, and the other heroes stopped talking and looked at Jason blankly.
"This is my ship, since you don't want to stay here, get off this ship immediately," Jason looked at Cyd coldly.
"It's at sea..." Hercules clenched his fists.
"Ah~ it doesn't matter," Cyd patted Hercules' shoulder, "I can't sink."
"Huh?"
"Well~ I have the blessing of the sea god on my body, I can walk on the sea," Cyd raised his left wrist, the crystals of cyan seemed to be urging Cyd to keep flashing rays of light.
"You're an amazing person," Hercules smiled heartily.
"So~ I'm going one step ahead," Cyd waved and winked at Atalanta, signaling her goodbye in Calydon.
"I'll go with you," but Atalanta walked over to him as if she couldn't see Cyd's eyes.
"Sister, can you walk on the sea?" Cyd patted his forehead.
"No." Atalanta denied it quite simply.
"Then how do you want me to take you with you?"
"It's decided," Atalanta nods.
"Huh?"
"Carry me."
"Hmmm, great," Hercules patted Cyd's shoulder.
"I... Come," Cyd sighed crouched down with his back to Atalanta.
Atalanta hesitated for a moment before pressing on Cyd's back, pinching Cyd's collar with both hands, and crossing her slender legs in front of Cyd's body.
Atalanta whispered in Cyd's ear the moment Cyd got up.
"If you dare to touch me, I'll bite your neck."
Atalanta's voice was soft like a whisper between lovers, but to Cyd the voice was different. The feeling of cold air falling up.
"If we are fated we will meet again later," Hercules moved towards Cyd and waved.
"Hercules, I've always believed that you're going to be a great hero," Cyd smiled and jumped off The Argo.
"I also believe," Hercules put down his hand, "You will be a better hero than me."

"Ah~ it's really amazing."
Looking at the school of fish passing under my feet, Cyd said from the bottom of his heart.
"It's amazing, but can you hurry up," Atalanta grabbed Cyd's clothes.
"Eh...Ata, are you in a hurry?"
"No...no, I just thought I should get to Calydon as soon as possible. It's been a long time since I left, but I still haven't seen it. Any islands? Have we really moved towards Calydon?" Atalanta said as her corner of mouth twitching, can't say her legs are a little numb.
"Probably..." Cyd shook the compass in his hand that was constantly spinning, "Why can't you give me an accurate direction!"
This compass would point to his direction. Where he wants to go, he should definitely now...probably want to go to Calydon... right?
"What kind of broken compass are you! Why does its needle keep turning! No...you've been following this thing all day long!" Atalanta pinched Cyd's neck and shook vigorously.
"Wait wait! This compass is a prop given to me by the gods, and the pointer will point to where I want to go," Cyd held the compass tightly, for fear that someone would accidentally throw it in nautical miles.
"..." Atalanta was silent for five seconds and then directly strangled Cyd's neck, "Then this result is because of your reason!"
"Sorry!!!"
"Give me the compass!" Atalanta gasped after restraining Cyd for a while, "Now I'll show the way!"
"Emmm...fine," Cyd blinked and handed the compass to Atalanta.
"You should have given it to me early in the morning," Atalanta curled her lips and stretched out her right hand to get the compass, but an accident happened, the moment her hand touched the compass, she only felt her body becoming numb and she unconsciously loosened her legs.
"Hey!" Cyd shrank his eyes, turned around at the moment Atalanta fell to the sea, stretched out his right hand and embraced Atalanta in his arms.
"..."
"Bite you to death!" Atalanta struggled to extend her hand to grab Cyd's neck, but for some reason, the extended left hand was only softly placed on Cyd's body.
I can only help you so far, come on!
Cyd seemed to see Hermes giving him a thumbs up.
"I think it's a misunderstanding!" Cyd not knowing what to do, waving his left hand, and the touch of Atalanta's thigh on his right hand made him think about it, but considering Atalanta's super murderous bite threats, Cyd can only cover up as much as possible...
"This compass..." Atalanta was unable to lean against Cyd's chest, and her right hand kept swinging to try to get rid of the compass in her hand, but the compass was locked. Sticking firmly to her palm, the pointer kept pointing in one direction.
"I can't get rid of it!"
"Probably...you can take it down when you reach your destination, probably..." Cyd laughed awkwardly.
"If you bump into the shore, I'll bite you to death!" After fully understanding the status quo that she was powerless and could only let Cyd hold the compass, Atalanta's pretty face blushed, and then overwhelmed with anger.
"Cough what you say...don't worry, although I'm not a hero, I will never take advantage of others' danger." Cyd raised his left wrist, "Hermes God's blessing, no one can I lied, even to myself, so you can rest assured."
"If it's those people, the current situation is probably... wait!" Atalanta lowered her eyes first, then seemed to remember something. Then her eyes widened, "No one can lie to you?!"
"Er...probably," Cyd hesitated to give Atalanta a vague answer.
Atalanta held up the compass after being silent for a while, "Come on."
"That...I shouldn't have done anything wrong?"
"Shut up and go!!!"
"I know!!"
――――
"Hey~ looks so interesting, I really want to join them," Artemis dragged her chin on Mount Olympus through the water hole made by Hephaestus, watching Cyd running on the surface of the water with Atalanta in his arms.
"Cyd won't find it funny, but I will, so I will go ahead," Hermes snickered, covering his mouth, yes!
"Hermes ~~" A figure put a hand on Hermes' shoulder.
"Ah...a...Apollo!" Hermes shivered at the familiar breath, and stammered out the name of the golden retriever behind him, "Shouldn't you be pulling Erhu!"
"I don't want to answer any of your questions, but you're going to accompany me out for a run now." Not allowing Hermes to resist, Apollo dragged him out by the back collar, "Of course with you tied behind the war chariot!"
"Ata is also really fun to play alone," Artemis sighed lying on the pool, scouring the water with her hands, as if she wanted to take Cyd and Atalanta out of the water.
"Pure Son of Man, Child of the Moon..."
"If you want to go, go," With flowing silver hair and a long Greek dress, Athena sat down by the pool and said softly, "He would probably be very [happy] if he saw you."
"Really! But..." Artemis's eyes shined first, then drooped softly. Nodding, "I don't want him to be happy because he can get [blessings]."
"Then why do you want him to be happy?" Athena tilted her head.
"Hmm...don't know," Artemis curl her lips.
"Then..." Athena raised the corners of her mouth, "How about you check it yourself? Aren't you bored here?"
"But he'll probably... Be afraid," Artemis stared at the water.
"Wouldn't Hermes get along well with him?" Athena spread her hands, "Sooner or later he will get your blessing, so why not just go to investigate?"
"It's been three years," Artemis scratched her hair and reached out to Cyd in the water.
"It wouldn't be tempting to be a Virgin Goddess," Athena jokingly flicked the water, and the image Artemis was about to touch was immediately washed away by the ripples.
"Just like the Goddess of Fate prophecy that has nothing to do with the gods' rule, the Pure Son of Man will... Forget it," Artemis scratched her hair, "just feels like he's different from the other men, very special."
"Ah~~ this is a precursor to a woman's fall," Athena covered her forehead, "don't forget what you swore."
"I I know, but it's okay for me to maintain my identity as a Virgin Goddess and be like a hobby with a man," Artemis stood up. "No, no, probably a man will be tossed crazy," Athena glanced at Artemis, whose eyes were bulging, probably a man would be aroused by desire, but Artemis really will not do anything other than hold hands.
"Cyd is different," Artemis snorted while leaving the temple.
"Pure Son of Man ——Cyd," Athena helplessly laughed looked towards the calm water surface, looked at Cyd with a bitter face on the water surface and smiled.
"An incredible guy."
