Chapter 6: Chapter Six

Shirou stared at the back of his left hand with narrowed eyes. It was starting, not that he didn't expect it, but he forgot if there was an exact date for it... And that burst of prana he felt last night was a good indicator as well, Rin had summoned her servant, his alternate self.

Well, this would be fun.

In these two years of training, sometimes under the watch of Zelretch and sometimes without him, he did whatever he could to prepare, mainly, practicing alteration, forging, the speed of his projections, and enhancing his body even more as he aged.

About his reality marble, Zelretch was of little help there, because "Where's the fun in that?".

At least, the old man provided him with the chant to summon the servant, otherwise, he would have a problem that he would not have any idea how to deal with.

Now, to summon his servant, what could go wrong?

___

Turns out, a lot.

In front of him stood a familiar figure, after all, this was the face that stared back at him every day in the mirror.

The summoning circle that was in the shed, stopped glowing, indicating its deactivation.

"I have responded to your call, tell me, are yo-"

The man stopped his introduction, the same, aburn eyes as his own making contact with the identical pair and a single thought ran through Shirou's mind...

(I summoned the wrong saber.)

Yes, this dumbass summoned the wrong saber.

In front of him stood someone that would have been considered a male stripper if the situation was any different.

Two familiar faces stared at each other, both with blank expressions, his servant was wearing black pants with a pouch attached to his left leg and sandals with foreleg armor, the old-style pants were held together by white cloth acting as a belt. His arm was covered with red cloth that was held together by a strand of the fabric going over his chest and in his right hand, he held a white cloak over his shoulder.

"Well, this is awkward."

He remarked blankly, not breaking eye contact.

The servant's lips thinned and his eyebrows raised, Shirou could tell that he was unimpressed.

"No kidding, kid."

Shirou could figure out what happened, or more importantly, why it happened.

He was Muramasa's descendant, and, as Zelretch told him, he had a piece of his soul to have access to his memories, so the lineage and the soul fragment overpowered his connection with king Arthur.

Neat.

Wait till Archer sees this, he's gonna flip.

"Anyway, let's do it properly, I ask you. Are you my master?"

At the end of his sentence, he got all serious and dramatic that he had to admit, was very cringe, but he would not comment on it.

"Yes."

So he countered with his own dose of Cringe, wth a capital "C".

Yeah, they would get along just fine.

----

"HAHAHAHAHA."

An old man laughed as he looked at his future traveling companion, he had to admit, this was hilarious. He thought that Avalon would still overpower the small piece of soul he merged with the new one, but it did not.

Must have been because of the lifestyle the buy had led.

He was a sword, making swords, so what better servant than the blacksmith that was the best at making swords?

"This isn't funny, at all."

He whipped away a nonexistent tear from his eye, calming down a little and looking at the two identical teens in front of him...

And promptly broke out into chuckles.

"I am still confused, why is he here?"

One of the two, the one wearing a yukata, asked with a raised eyebrow, looking at him like the strangest thing he has ever seen.

"Ignore him, we have a few things to plan out, like... strategy."

Shirou sighed as he placed a plate of food in front of them and sat down with an annoyed grunt.

If he was honest, this situation was perfect. Muramasa had a noble phantasm that would help in destroying the Grail, his arsenal, consisting of every blade he has ever forged, and any blade a future version of himself has would be a good addition to his arsenal.

"So-"

The servant grabbed a piece of meat and bit down, chewing and humming in appreciation.

"- What's your wish, master?"

Oh, this was the question he should have seen coming. And he had the time to debate how he would answer that, the process was grueling, to ensure that there would be no loose ends or any part that would make his servant suspec-

"I just want the cup."

He was so glad he remembered the abridged version of this world.

"... Seriously?"

"Yup. So, wanna show me a few specific specimens from my future arsenal for no specific reasons?"

Saber just stared at him for a second, something that has become common in the last hour, and shrugged.

"This will be a good week, I can tell."

They ignored the white-haired relic.
