Chapter 15: Chapter -15 Skello vampire [3]
The battle continued for next several hours before ending.
Absolute silence enshrouded the world.
"Haa...haa..."
Breaking the silence was the sound of someone's rough breathing echoing throughout the space.
Cronos didnt even have a scratch probably due to his heling factor. His upper body was completky bare showing the chisseled muscles. His lower body was still covered.
Death on the other hand With black blood seeping down from his mouth, and his body laying down seemed to be in extreme pain.
"Death, you lost."
"Nooo! I can still figh- cough cough I ca- cough cough."
Even though he was injured and his life was in danger he as still not willing to give up. He felt the death energy starting to dissappear indicating he was slowly loosing his live but still he wanted to make Cronos suffer. The one who exterminated his whole race.
His race was devil. The ones who had death energy as a sourse of their life instead of life force.
"I will kill you!"
He screamed as he raised his hand.
The moment he raised his hand, the world seemed to have come to a standstill as death energy gathered towards the palm of his hand, forming a small ball the size of a basketball.
"Stay put."
But before the black orb could fully form, Cronos raised his hand and motioned it in a downward manner.
As though gravity had been warped, cracks formed beneath death as his body crushed against the ground hard as a crater formed beneath him.
Even though the force of the impact was huge, Death's eyes were still paused on Cronos's figure.
Cronos was just blankly starting at the sky. His eyes which were completely lively while fighting with death seemed a bit dull.
Soon a ray of light hit the ground which was followed by the sun rising.
"Suuuuuu, Fuuuuu."
He inhaled and exhaled deep breaths.
"This would probably be my last time breathing."
Cronos said as he looked at the sun that was slowly rising.
Soon steam could be seen coming out of his body and the sound of something getting fried in deep oil echoed.
Then death realised it. Cronos was someone who had lived for thousands of years. He could have chosen eternal slumber but for him death was better since it was coumplesury to set a limit after which he would wake up but...
...What about the promise he made to all of them. He would make Cronos suffer as much as possible.
Using the last bit of strength left in his body death dashed towards the figure of Cronos which was envoleped in crimson red flames.
He felt a sharp pain spreading in his body but he ignored it. Death energy covered his palm as he touched the crimson red flames.
He was using one of his skills. A forbidden skill.
"Remember this curse. You won't be able to rest in peace for your eternity. Remember this Skello vampire." These were the last words spoken by Death before his body turned into dark coloured flames and merged with crimson red flames.

"Skello vampire. These two were the last words I heard before I lost my consciousness. When ever I am exposed to sunlight my skin burned to ashes leaving behind my bones. I turn out to be like this. When ever moonlight touches my bones I gain my skin back. When I am in my skeleton form my defense is very weak and when I am in my skin form my defense is almost unbreakable." Cronos said as he looked at me.
"Say, if you were bored then why didn't you fight with the demon lord." I asked him with an look filled with curiosity.
"What, why would I have fought the king of that weak race. He was just a star -7 which was considered strongest for them. Although there was a prophesy saying that a new demon lord would rise. For whome a star -10 would be as weak as a bug but I don't believe in prophecy so I went to slumber."
My face darkened as I looked at chronos
"Are you messing with me."
"No."
"...."
"...."
"Just A demon general of the demon race was star -10 level -9."
"You. You dosn't that mean..."

The union is composed of three main parts.
The government deals with all the political crises and with the civilians.
The hunter association deals with things related to the dungeon and the tower of doom.
The League of Assassins has been given the task of the assassination of the moles and spies in the higher rank.
These three associations together formed the union. After the second great war when the government broke apart strong individuals came together to form the hunter association and the League of Assassins, but since they even needed an association to deal with political matters they once again formed the government. Soon these three associations came together to form the union.

In the span of three months he already completed 155 copper grade, 125 bronze grade, 25 silver grade and
one low rank gold grade mission.
He had finally gotten two days of rest. One might be thinking that in his two days of rest he would be training vigilently but no.

After watching the whole two hours long video he started watching the new movie released Banos and the six finite stones while munching down a lot of popcorn.
Suddenly he heard someone opening the door and thought that it was Chris since he is the only one who has keys of his building but.
He sensed anotger pressense. A very dangerious one.
A dagger materialized in his hand as he closed the TV.
Seriousness flashed in his eyes as the grip over the dagger increased.
