Chapter 149: Escape From The War

The development of the stronghold war between the East and the West Yamanashi Prefectureworsened by the day, causing unrest in neighboring prefectures since it was slowly getting out of hand. Neither side was backing down, and it reached the point where it's either one side wins, or both side loses.

While all of that was happening, the preparation in the Kazuichi Stronghold was still at full speed. Kazuich, with the help of Arisu and Jurou, didn't want to war to overtake them and catch them off guard. At the very least, they should be able to defend themselves should the war directly affect them in any way.

It was the best decision, since right now, another threat was looming in the background. On a certain territory near the Yamanashi Prefecture, a certain threat loomed slowly, inching its way through strongholds and shelters and wreaking havoc as if it were the manifestation of the end of the world.
