Awesome, the tribut to LIN FAN killed it, was expecting the future storyline but overall well written, just a little fast at the end.đđ
This novel is an utter waste of time. From start to where I dropped, it was a sloppy mess of poor character development, nonsensical plot twists, and lazy writing. The main character was an absolute disaster - braindead, and completely lacking in any redeeming qualities. The author seems more interested in forcing drama and conflict than in creating a cohesive, engaging story. I wouldn't recommend this novel to my worst enemy - it's that bad. Save your time, and read something else instead.
Attribute-genre novels are of my favorite genre and this novel didn't disappointed me from beginning to the end... Some people might be turned off by OP mc but not me with this kind of plot. The ending...well it better to end it rather than extend to more upper universe shit.
please update more chapters... I've been reading this kind of sci-fi novel for about 8 months but the only problem is the updated chapters are too long... Thank you
It is an outstanding story with clear distinctions and explanations about different cultivation levels. I do hope for a summary of his continuing life and the world. The story may seem a little fast but I didn't get bored at any point.
Second time reading, very interesting and MC is not a coward and is smart enough to figure out how to solve problems.
I've been enjoying the story, but this author falls into some of the same issues that a lot of stories like this do. Like in the chapter I'm reading things are kind of set up in an east vs west sort of way, bit when you hear the characters they all have the traditions of the east. Like for instance "the sons inherit the debts of the father". Doesn't happen here. Actually it's a major part of Western history and law that debts don't get inherited. I'm not talking about a situation where debt belongs to a corporation and the corporation is passed down. Point is, it's just weird when a completely different culture looks and sounds exactly like your own. It would be like if I talked about Chinese people having a Quincineria (not sure on spelling) or celebrating Yom Kipur. Someone might say "it's fiction, so they might be like that in this world". If that was the case, there's no need to distinguish between East and West. I know this is just a webnovel, I'm just saying it wouldn't kill authors to spend a little while researching. You know, like real authors.
minor story spoilers included read at own risk. later, half of the story had many grammar issues and genders mixed up. also, many side characters have general based personalities and don't really contribute to the story, which is only really used for more chapters and word count. ending was absolutely terrible and extremely abrupt. Mc also has basically 2 romance interests who basically become background information, same with his sister. also, there's like 3 chapters involving his mother, and that's at the end of the book. overall, only the first half of the story is good.

There were (initially) multiple passes of editing/translation. To the point that you ACTUALLY were a better product than the pirated version. Hurray! Of course you changed translators (or they stopped putting effort) so by chapter 100 or so things started turning into basically MTL garbage. Probably actually earlier than that So... meh. It wasn't really GOOD to start out with, but there were good *points*. Once there's finally a twist and you have to read it 10 times to make sure it wasn't just a TL mistake... that's the last straw. Way too many mistakes here.
This is definitely Swallowed Star, but with a system đ€Ł. I mean its only got a few things tweaked out but still from the start it just showing
I have followed this story for a long time. It slowed down a couple in section for story development but I would highly recommend giving it a read
So I donât think this novel deserves the hate itâs getting on these reviews. While it is very similar to swallowed star, the author does a good job remodeling it into something of his own. If you like a novel with a system and an OP MC, this one is for you. My one complaint is how the ending was pretty rushed. Overall I enjoyed it enough to finish it and recommend it to anyone who liked Swallowed Star.
Review as of Chapter 325 So this story is about a guy who can consume beast meat (later corpses in general)to get attributes points so he can make himself stronger, the problem I have with it is, his cheat is just boring and it hasn't got anymore functions even after 300 chapters, like if he could use the points on other people to help them it would've made it way more interesting. Character design is kinda meh as well,like none of the chars are even remotely that deep and there's almost no char development. Translation is fine if you've read a few MTL's before, if not then you might struggle to understand some parts. While it is a harem somewhat but, he's only slept with 2 when I stopped reading, and the harem isn't important or the focus of the story.
Although the story wasnât very original, I could see he took a lot of inspiration from Er Gen which I admire. I finished the story to the end on RAW and although the end was very rushed I enjoyed it. Despite the lack of originality the author did a good job emulating Er Genâs âSwallowed Starâ Solid 8/10 enjoyed it.
Review at 300ch Mc powers up like a rocket. 17 years old (less than a year of âcultivationâ) and over powering people 400 years old. Personally I do like a good op mc so I like it. World background seems interesting. Biggest complaint here is you have the china number one mentality. Itâs not nearly as bad so far as I have seen in other novels but it is subtlety there. You can tell itâs shaping up to probably be a harem. I do not care for harem stories especially when the female characters act like the current relationship. Also there is zero build up to the start of the relationship. All of the females that will probably be in the harem that have so far been introduced only want to hug his thigh except once but Iâm not gonna spoil in case she is part of the harem as she is introduced early. My overall review is read it if you like super op characters and donât mind harems. It isnât the best writing but it is better than a lot of stuff on here.

typical Chinese trash rip off novel, young masters everywhere, and never ending cultivation level, do you think a martial god level is the end no your still starting in cultivation like an apprentice rinse and repeat
although plot is excellent major plot has a lot of similarities with the novel THE SWALLOWED STAR

Very enjoyable read, can tell author is a fan of swallowed star; Though, as am I. Nothing new that made this story truly pop but consistent and easygoing. Mc never really in danger other than a few rare fights. Felt aimless at times when mc drops things that he focused on before, not exactly a knock but confusing as the reader at times. The story did well building a character you care for but others completely took a side role. This is expected due to rapid progression but the characters numerous chapters were spent on became shadows on a wall. The progression of the story was good other than the rush at the end, which I prefer due to many books tending to carry on further than they should. I highly recommend the read, solid book just had some minor flaws that many books end up with. 4/5.
