Chapter 428: Shocking gift

One after another all the clan leaders or their representatives walked into the room with the gifts prepared for the Bloodfall clan and the value of the gifts they brought kept increasing progressively with each passing lord. 

As a result of the gala dinner the previous night, all the lord's and their representatives had a clear idea of what the lord beneath them were gifting and hence they had swapped their gifts to a more appropriate market value if it were over or below the limit. 

As of now, the Bloodfall clan had a sort of clean slate, it did not have major feuds with any clans and did not have many allies either.

This was a big advantage for Max as he could forge relations anew without having to carry them as they were from the time of his predecessors, a truly unique position to be in.
