A Dragon's Pride

Chiron was done with his pillaging, a grim satisfaction settling over him. It was time to return. He signaled to the Red-Blood Fire Dragon, and with a powerful flap of its immense wings, the dragon lifted into the sky. 

It was at this time that it happened.

On hearing this, Chiron's satisfying smile froze in shock. Fate always had a habit of catching him off guard when he was relaxed or having fun. 

Of course he knew that it was coming, but where was it coming from? Besides, the fate change system had said that it was 'fate's knight.'

As far as Chiron could remember, it was only the Holy Church that have ever been referred to as fate's knights. However, he remembered that he had removed his scent and self from the eyes of the Seer. And if he had removed himself from her eyes, then he had also removed himself from the sight of the demon Mother too.
