Elaine laughed along too. Then, she said, "Don't worry, Mama. He is taking good care of me. You should relax from overthinking things, alright? Also, I'll make sure to punish him on your behalf because he kept things secret from you."

"Don't worry about me, Elaine. I'm fine here because your dear cousin is keeping me company right now. Anyways, since we're already on the phone, I want you to enjoy your holiday, and mama is not going to disturb your time."

Elaine ended the call shortly after that. She placed the phone down and turned her head towards her husband, smirking. She scoffed sourly, "Mama said that my dear cousin is keeping her company. I am sure she meant that rotten Helena, the two-faced woman!"
